How do I use Smart Search?

Type what you want in your own words — in Arabic, English, or any of the 20 languages we support. You do not need to know the hotel name or set filters manually.

Examples that work:

  • Quiet room with Bosphorus view and modern bathroom
  • Family apartment, two bedrooms, sea view, not far from center
  • Romantic suite with balcony, high floor, no street noise

The system understands your request as a set of conditions and finds rooms that match — starting with the most important ones you described.

How does the AI matching work?

Your description is broken into ranked requirements. The system finds rooms that match all conditions first. If exact matches are limited, it adjusts one condition at a time — always starting with the least critical — and shows you clearly what changed and why.

You always know exactly why you are seeing what you are seeing.

What are Cards Mode and Reels Mode?

Both show the same search results — in two different formats.

Cards Mode lets you compare rooms side by side — price, view type, size, bathroom quality, and floor range at a glance.

Reels Mode lets you scroll through real room videos in the same order as your results. The first video you see is the room that best matches what you described.

What are Smart Suggestions?
When you open the search bar, you will see suggestions based on common requests — like "Bosphorus View", "Family Friendly", or "Honeymoon". These are starting points. You can use them or type your own description freely.
How do I use the Map view?
On the Map page you can see all available hotels by location. Filter by area, move the map to search a specific neighborhood, and see distances to key landmarks. Useful when location is your first priority.

Room Videos

Are the room videos real?
Yes. Every video on VICATOO is filmed by our team — not provided by the hotel. We film in natural light, without staging, without wide-angle lenses. What you see is what the room actually looks like.
Does every room have a video?
Every room listed on VICATOO has been personally visited and filmed by our team. If a room does not have a verified video, it does not appear on the platform.
What does VICATOO check before listing a room?

We check natural light, actual view from the window, bathroom condition, room size and feel, furniture condition, balcony if present, and noise environment. Rooms that do not meet our standard are not listed — regardless of the hotel star rating.

Booking & Payment

How do I book a room?
Select your destination, dates, and number of guests. Browse results in Cards or Reels mode. When you find the right room, click Book Now and complete your details. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. You receive instant confirmation.
What payment methods are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay — all processed through Stripe. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.
Is the price I see the final price?
Yes. The price shown includes all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges at checkout. What you see is what you pay.
How do I receive booking confirmation?
Instantly — by email, immediately after payment. Your confirmation includes the hotel address, check-in time, booking reference, and voucher. No follow-up required.
What are the cancellation terms?
Each room has its own cancellation policy — shown clearly on the room page before you pay. Free cancellation options are labeled. Non-refundable rates are clearly marked. You will never encounter cancellation terms for the first time at checkout.
How do I cancel a booking?
Go to your dashboard under My Bookings, select the booking, and follow the cancellation steps. If your booking includes free cancellation, the refund is processed automatically to your original payment method.
What if I need to modify my booking?
Contact our support team via the Help Center or email. We will check availability and options for your new dates or room type.

CAVIS Loyalty

What is CAVIS?
CAVIS is VICATOO loyalty program. Every completed booking earns CAVIS points. Points double after 12 months of membership. Redeem points toward future stays and travel perks.
How do I earn CAVIS points?
Points are earned automatically on every confirmed booking when you are signed in to your VICATOO account. No registration required beyond your standard account.

Account & Technical

Do I need an account to book?
No. You can book as a guest using just your email. Creating an account lets you track all bookings in one place, save favorite rooms, and earn CAVIS points.
Which languages does the platform support?
Arabic — including major dialects — English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, and Ukrainian.
Which currencies are supported?
Gulf currencies — AED, SAR, KWD, BHD, QAR, OMR — as well as EGP, JOD, EUR, GBP, USD, and major European currencies. Select your preferred currency from the top of any page.
